12th January 2016 was Swamy Vivekananda’s 153rd birth anniversary. It was celebrated as the youth day all over India.
Swamy was a roaring lion and he told the youth to roar like a lion instead of weeping like a coward.
He proved that one can reach anywhere if hard work, devotion, dedication and sincerity are incorporated in the blood stream and demonstrated in our work.Swamy said “I have done the work which is sufficient to take this nation for the next 500 years. You have only to continue that”
He told to set your goal and work for that. He also said set your goal and devote your life for that. You will achieve the goal.
Powerful muscles and veins are the need of the day and not weakness.
What he said he proved in his own life. He created Ramakrishna Mission, Sarada mission and inspired others to create Vivekananda mission.
World remembers him as one of the greatest world citizens with Hindu spirit and patriotism towards his motherland India.
His words inspired millions during a period when India was behaving like a slave nation and Indians like slaves. His inspiration level was something unbelievable and that spirit still continues in Indian mind and in India and abroad.
IISH celebrated the day as the 1st convocation day for distributing the certificates for the students who were studying heritage subjects of their choice in IISH entre, National Heritage Center in Trissur.
