Peter F Drucker said; 1. “There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all”
This message, I think, is a super one, which informs individuals, organizations, movements and so on to think deeply on what they are doing and why they are doing, something good or bad.
The effort of doing something, none in this world is bothered. People are bothered only on the results we produce. Thus without focusing on the results many people do many things efficiently without looking into its effectiveness.
Every mother, father, teacher, leader, manager, director….. should look deep into the fact that doing effectively the things to be done is the only way to avoid all types of wastage and making full utilization of time, energy, money and manpower.
2. “Many things may not be easy things to do but right things to do” Here comes the second message; Doing something for the sake of doing is not real doing. It should be the right thing which fetches results. Many of us do many things without looking into the fact whether it is the right thing to do or not. Doing work from morning till night may be work, but may not be useful work.
3. “Real risk is in risk-less living”. We think always doing the risk-less job/ work is the easiest way to march forward. Wrong, unless we take some risk in every activities nothing can be achieved. There will not be any creativity and innovation where risk is minimum. Thus take up risky jobs too with risk-less jobs to make some breakthroughs.
