A few readers wrote to us that It is difficult learn and teach our heritage:
If you think that learning and teaching of any subject is difficult, then it is difficult if you are thinking of becoming a master in that subject. What is to be aimed at is not a masters level learning, but at least good background or preliminary knowledge in the subject.
If we are ignorant about what to learn and how to learn. The first step is to select a subject (anyone of the subject of your choice) and then go deep into it. Do a few search in that subject. Remember in olden days we had to go through libraries and books. Now knowing about any subject is not at all difficult. Those subjects and information are available in the Google search, Wikipedia, internet facilities……. You need to know only the searching using the key words and then reading what are all appearing in your computer screen.
If you want to know about Thakshasila, Nalanda, flute, Chembai vaidyanatha bhagavathar, Bhagavatham, Vedas, Bhagavath Geetha, Ramayana and management, ancient Indian metallurgy, aryabhatta,…………….. just give the key words and spend a few minutes in understanding what are the things given in that. You may reach to the expected level, if you are doing it sincerely, with devotion, dedication and open mind.
I used to say learn anything and immediately teach others whatever you have learned (or discuss with others) your knowledge get fixed in the brain in a better and refined way.
Go on collecting knowledge / information from various sources through IT media, then start a small group of whatsApp or Face book, and email and then go ahead in spreading the same knowledge to your group also. You will become a good source knowledge for many and also to your family.
Great men were / are formed not merely taking university degrees or acquiring systematic curriculum based knowledge. But learning from the nature and preset day, from E media. Do it and tell the result to others also.
Excellent lectures on any subjects in any languages are also be available in you tube for your learning the subject. Follow that also when you drive the car or during your travel/ resting time.
